STUDY TABLE CONCEPT
A study table driven entirely by the better half ’s functional demands, designed for someone unapologetically tech-obsessed, with multiple devices, cables everywhere, and a constant battle with clutter.
The challenge was to create a system that doesn’t force order, but enables it.
The design focuses heavily on organisation, integrating thoughtful wire management, accessible storage, and surfaces that support everyday use without feeling overloaded. Everything has a place, but nothing feels rigid.
Tiered storage helps shift the clutter vertically, freeing up the work surface, while open shelving allows flexibility, baskets, trays, add-ons that can evolve over time.
Compactness was key. Designed to sit comfortably within the constraints of an average London flat, the table had to do more with less footprint.
Visually, it leans into slim, fluid lines, light, slightly playful, but grounded enough to feel sturdy and dependable.
It doesn’t try to over-resolve the chaos, just makes living with it easier (for a cleanliness freak like me).
