Okapi Entryway Bench
The Inspiration behind the design of the Okapi entryway Coat-rack and bench, was an element of quirk and minimalism, creating a fun and functional piece of furniture.
The Okapi is a beautiful animal, known for its unique striped coat and elegant form. My design for the Okapi Entry Way Bench and Coat Rack draws inspiration from this magnificent creature, using a play with form and function to create a statement piece for any home.
To bring this design to life, I worked with ethically sourced sheesham wood and natural cotton fabric. Sheesham wood is known for its durability and strength, making it an excellent choice for furniture that will be used daily. The natural cotton fabric adds a soft touch, bringing warmth and texture to the design.
The Okapi Entry Way Bench and Coat Rack is not just a beautiful piece of furniture, but also highly functional. The bench provides a comfortable place to sit while putting on shoes or taking them off, while the coat rack offers ample space to hang jackets, scarves, and hats.
The bench's legs are angled, adding a touch of elegance and creating a unique silhouette that makes it stand out in any space.
